Crawling Through My Own Magical Kingdom: A Personal Commitment to Immersive Spaces

A lot has happened over the years that has caused people to retreat. People long for subtle hints of magic, hoping to climb into a visual snapshot of an immersive escape. Something essential was lost in our environments when spaces started to feel flat and ordinary. Trendy aesthetics have taken over so that each home starts to feel the same. Our goal should be to transform each space in our home so that it captures an immersive spirit.

Imagine walking wistfully through your home as your eyes catch each eclectic detail transforming you to another world. Picture a ceiling in moody shades of blue, walls draped in mixed media landscapes, and the soft glow of candlelight beside a steaming mug. The beauty of creativity is that you can borrow elements from enchanting realms without having to delve into those real-time struggles. Consider it a novel to which you write a new chapter room by room. You are crawling through a magical kingdom with its vast moods and complexities.

New Year’s resolutions are almost a guaranteed failure and that date has long passed, so I will settle this as a personal commitment to start the novel in my own home.
