Mary and Mary Magdalene Visit the Empty Tomb on Resurrection Morning

Sometimes when I am feeling insignificant and wonder about how much I matter to God, I am reminded that two of the first people to visit the empty tomb of the Resurrected Jesus where Mary and Mary Magdalene. During the time of the Savior, women’s voices weren’t recognized as having any sort of power or authority. From the time of the announcment of Christ’s birth to the lowely shepards up to Mary Magdalene being widly regarded as the first person to recognize a resurrected Christ, God uses ordinary people for extradinary purposes. As we prepare to enter into the Easter Season, it beacons the question, how can Heavenly Father use you as a tool to spread the message of the Gospel?
